Bluestone Cottage to remain in Council ownership

During the community consultation process, concerns were raised regarding the integration of the Bluestone Cottage, currently occupied by the Coburg Historical Society, within the health precinct.

In the Council meeting on the 8th of December 2021, Council resolved to subdivide the bluestone cottage and surrounding land from the site, and will therefore no longer be part of the sale. Furthermore, CHH has committed to providing funds towards refurbishment works of the Bluestone Cottage and surrounding capital works.

CHH will be working with the Coburg Historical Society, Heritage Victoria and Council to ensure the bluestone cottage is protected during the refurbishment works and construction of the Health Hub.
